Forgery Lens
Image authentication
Has this photo been edited, or was it made by an AI? Forgery Lens runs thirteen forensic techniques, reads the metadata and provenance, and shows you exactly where to look, all on your own machine and written up in a report you can keep.
The problem it solves
Checking a photo usually means juggling several websites and tools, one technique each, and uploading evidence to all of them. Forgery Lens puts the established techniques in one place, runs them locally, and records what it found.
Who it's for: Digital forensic examiners, investigators and analysts asked whether an image can be relied on.
What it does
- Editing checks. Error level analysis, PCA, luminance gradients, wavelet noise, clone detection, JPEG ghosts, block grid, double compression, resampling and the camera's CFA pattern.
- AI-generation checks. C2PA and XMP provenance, Stable Diffusion settings, invisible watermarks, the noise spectrum and generator-like image sizes.
- Metadata and provenance. File structure, quantisation tables, EXIF with GPS and thumbnail, XMP edit history and Content Credentials.
- Findings you can follow. Each finding is graded and links straight to the view that found it, with overlays you can blend, zoom and export.
- Evidence stays local. Images are never uploaded, and nothing is written to disk except what you choose to save.
- Complete reports. Save the analysis as an offline HTML page, a PDF or JSON.

Good to know
- Findings are pointers for an examination, not proof. Every technique can give false positives on fine texture, repetition and heavy recompression.
- Images that have been resized, screenshotted or sent through social media keep far fewer traces.
- Per-image AI checks are weak on their own, so they are only ever marked minor. Provenance and watermarks are the dependable signals.
Forgery Lens is in development
It isn't on general sale yet. Request early access to use it on your own material before release, report what works and what doesn't, and help shape the finished version. Early-access users get launch pricing locked in.
Planned launch prices, excluding VAT. A unit licence covers every workstation in one force's forensic unit.
